> Our primary objective is to ensure that every citizen of Vellanad has access to safe housing, superior healthcare and education facilities, agricultural prosperity, and transparent governance.

Our Mission

To realize our vision, Vellanad Grama Panchayat focuses on the following core strategic areas:

 * 100% Housing Security & Social Welfare:

   Achieve complete housing security for all eligible families through the LIFE Mission scheme. Deliver targeted welfare support, educational scholarships, and self-employment initiatives for Scheduled Caste (SCP) and Scheduled Tribe (TSP) communities.

 * Agricultural Revitalization & Water Conservation:

   Rejuvenate traditional farming sectors, particularly paddy and banana crop cultivation, to make the panchayat self-sufficient in food production. Conserve wetlands, ponds, and local water resources to ensure long-term groundwater security.

 * Quality Education & School Modernization:

   Upgrade public schools under the Public Education Protection Mission with digital classrooms and modern infrastructure. Provide learning support grants and scholarships to ensure a zero drop-out rate across all wards.

 * Public Health, Safety & Environment:

   Strengthen primary healthcare sub-centers, guarantee clean drinking water supply, and run effective stray animal management/anti-rabies vaccination drives to create safe, healthy public spaces.

 * Transparent & E-Governance Administrative Delivery:

   Strengthen citizen involvement through active Grama Sabhas, ensure 100% project implementation and budget utilization, and deliver fast, accessible online services through digital governance.
